LifeOS Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 30, 2026
Purpose
This policy explains what LifeOS collects, why it is used, and how it supports the journal, planning, reflection, subscription, and account features in the app.
Information LifeOS Collects
LifeOS may collect account details such as your email address, display name, sign-in provider identifiers, and LifeOS user identifiers. LifeOS also stores the personal content you choose to add, including journal entries, reflections, notes, goals, habits, relationship context, generated daily planning content, app settings, and subscription status.
If you use voice or audio features, LifeOS may process microphone recordings or transcriptions to create the entry or reflection you requested. If you attach images, LifeOS may process and store the photos you select. Device, usage, diagnostic, and cost or token usage data may be collected to keep the app reliable, secure, and financially sustainable.
How LifeOS Uses Information
Information is used to provide authenticated access, save and sync your personal content, generate requested AI-assisted experiences, personalize the product, support subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and improve app quality.
Emails and Marketing Choices
LifeOS may use your email address to send account, security, support, purchase, subscription, and service messages related to your use of the app.
LifeOS may send product updates, tips, offers, or other marketing emails only when allowed by law and your communication choices. You can opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting support. Opting out of marketing emails does not stop account, security, purchase, subscription, or support messages.
LifeOS does not sell your personal information. LifeOS does not use your email address for third-party advertising audiences or ad retargeting unless that use is clearly disclosed and any required consent or platform permission is obtained first.
Payments and Subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. LifeOS does not receive or store full card numbers. RevenueCat is used to validate receipts, manage subscription entitlement state, and keep paid access synchronized with LifeOS.
Service Providers
LifeOS uses trusted providers for authentication, hosting, database storage, analytics, AI processing, subscriptions, and app store distribution. These providers may process data only as needed to provide their services to LifeOS.
Current provider categories include Clerk for authentication, Supabase for database and private media storage, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement validation, PostHog for product analytics when enabled, AI model and gateway providers for requested AI-assisted features, email delivery providers for account or marketing communications, and Apple App Store or Google Play for app distribution and billing.
Retention and Deletion
LifeOS keeps account and product data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You can request deletion of your account or personal data through the support contact listed in the app store or app experience.
Deleting your LifeOS account does not automatically cancel an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple or Google. You should manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Your Choices
You can choose what journal and profile information you add, manage subscriptions through Apple or Google, and control device permissions such as microphone access in your device settings.
You can contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion, marketing email opt-out, or other privacy choices for your LifeOS account data.
Children
LifeOS is not directed to children under 13, and it should not be used by anyone who is not old enough to use the app under applicable law.
Security
LifeOS uses technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so LifeOS also limits access to data based on operational need.
Changes
LifeOS may update this policy as the product, legal requirements, or service providers change. The updated date above will change when the policy is revised.
